JOB OBJECTIVE
Supervise Branch Operations from a remote location. A person in this role will assume the supervisory responsibilities for a district, approximately 25 branches. They will ensure that the branch locations under their control are compliant with all internal and regulatory policies. The goal of this position is to remove as much operations and supervision responsibility as possible from individual branch locations in order to maximize the time spent on sales by branch associates.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
* One licensed supervisory principle located in an OSJ would be responsible for the supervision and operational review for assigned district.
* Each Divisional Operations Manager would have approximately 26 branch offices to supervise
Daily activities of the DOA would include review and approval of the following blotters for their district:
* Checks Received
* Checks Paid
* Stock Received
* Exception trade report
* Review of incoming and outgoing correspondence
* Review of external email
* Support for their division on operational issues
* Review of advice files
* CDs
* Advisor Direct
* Amerivest
Travel is anticipated to be primarily limited to Ameritrade locations (approximately 10 - 15 % of the time).
Experience:
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Licensing:
* Series 7 and 63
* Series 24 or equivalent
Tenure:
* 3 years industry experience
* 5 years for the senior manager
Experience that would be helpful:
o Branch Experience
o Operations management experience
o Loss prevention or Risk experience
o Compliance experience
