Job Description
Position Summary:
This Cook position prepares hot/cold food items to order, according to approved standardized recipes. Plates food for service, according to established plating/presentation criteria. Preps raw food items ready for Cook l, to process and serve. Ensures that all food served is of the highest quality and that it is served to the guest in a timely manner.
The position is full time and requires flexibility with scheduling including AM, PM and weekend shifts, inclusive of necessary holidays.

Required Skills & Experience:
The ideal candidate will have at least one year of pantry experience in a high volume, upscale establishment or post secondary culinary certification as "Cook" from a recognized culinary school or program. Thorough knowledge of safety and sanitation standards as well as knowledge and understanding of the use and care of kitchen equipment is also necessary. He or she should have an excellent work history, be dependable, flexible with a positive attitude and energy. Additional requirments include the ability to meet all physical demands of the position, be able to work a schedule that may include either AM, PM, weekend and holiday shifts, be able to read, write and speak English and have a desire for growth and development in a busy and fast paced environment
