Job Description Manager, Sales Program

Description The Sales Program Manager is responsible for the development, budgeting, communication and execution of all US Sales Programs for all channels of distribution. Develop sales program strategy that contributes to achieving the company’s strategic business plan. Responsible for creating effective communication between company’s departments regarding sales program development and execution. The key contact for all company management and sales force regarding all information concerning the sales programs. Responsible for ensuring that all sales programs fit within the company’s budget and that effective reporting tools are created to track progress of each program.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Develop all programs and ensure they are evaluated with a positive ROI prior to implementation
• Ensure that all programs are executable and reportable prior to implementation
• Provide management and sales force with program reporting that reveals sales opportunities
• Able to react quickly regarding changes to current business and sales strategies in very fast paced sales environment
• Responsible for creating effective communication channels between internal departments during the development and execution of the sales programs
• Key contact in implementing, training, and executing annual sales programs to internal departments and sales force and sales program staff
• Manage sales programs at the account level to ensure correct account participation and account billing activity
• Review billing discrepancies for approval/rejection. Authorize credit adjustment requests that are approved and reject adjustments that do not qualify
• Work with Brand team to develop and implement in-season product specific sell in programs
• Work closely with all departments to overcome obstacles and proactively address the situation before issue escalates
• Manage allocation of all POP/POS associated with each program
• Participate in creating and testing new order and/or sales program tools
• Speak in front on large groups detailing key aspects of the sales programs
• Manage relationship and business with PGA of America
• Work with audit committee to ensure that all programs are in compliance

• Ability to communicate and interact with senior management
• Creating and distributing communication documents to sales force
• Ability to multi-task and organize work
• Ability to function in a continuously changing environment
• Must be able to work well without supervision
• Ability to speak effectively in front of large groups
Requirements
Education and/or Experience:
• 4 year college degree or equivalent work experience required
• 3 - 5 year sales experience preferred
• Project management experience preferred
• Industry experience a plus
• Excellent computer skills with emphasis in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Business Objects
• SAP and Callaway-Connect knowledge helpful
